A well can provide water to an entire village for five thousand dollars [$5,000]. The life giving element of water will enable people, animals, and crops to survive.

Without water the human body cannot survive. If water is inaccessable then people are spending the majority of their day going to and from the source of their water, just to live. They cannot improve their quality of life without this bare essential need.Water must be made available to them in a ready manner. A tremendous amount of people are dying each day because they do not have enough water to quench their thirst. It is our duty as people in the family of humanity to ensure that people do not perish due to lack of a basic need which should be their basic right.

To ensure our basic needs are being met the human body needs 5.28 to 13.2 gallons of water a day that is free from harmful contaminants. A child born in the developed world consumes 30 to 50 times as much water as one born in third world countries. The state of human health is directly proportionate to water related conditions.More than one billion people still use unsafe sources of drinking water. Five million people, mostly children, die each year from water-borne diseases.
