Eduation aides in the elimination of all affliction's to mankind by providing knowledge. Education enables people to learn about cultures of the world and see commonalities which, aides in eliminating biases and promoting peace.

 

The Learning Center of Kansas City, Kansas, www.learningclubkck.org​, provides support for children in the projects.Learning Club program's at a glance..........

1. Students served in our after-school elementary-age programs: over 60

2. Sites: Blessed Sacrament neighborhood, Juniper Gardens Public Housing Project, Chalet Manor Public Housing Project

3. Student retention rate: 82%

4. Overall daily attendance rate: 84%

5. Volunteers who work with our students at some point during the year: over 50

6. Daily ratio of students to adults: ~2:1
