Van Mon Leper Colony

Franciscan Friars in Vietnam wrote about a leprosy colony and the devistating affects of leprosy."Van Mon is a remote village in Vietnam where over 350 people with leprosy live. It is the oldest village out of more than twenty that have treatment for leprosy. There are over 3500 residents within these villages. Many of the residents contracted leprosy when they were children and their families took them to these villages and left them. Most have spent there entire life with no contact from their families. The people of these villages have suffered persecution their entire lives. They live in poor sanitary conditions and receive litte support from anybody with the exception of a $9 a month government allotment for food and clothing and a small allotment of rice. These people are isolated from the world and rarely have contact from anybody that is not inflicted with leprosy. There is a vacine for leprosy that could go far in eradicating this horrible disease. However, care and cure cost money, which there is not an abundance in Vietnam. Please consider helping these people in desperate need."

Children in Need

Today's youth faces an increasingly uncertain world where climate change, rapid urbanization, the economic recession and rising unemployment pose unprecedented challenges. There are 1.2 billion adolescents across the world, nine out of ten of these young people live in developing countries. Millions are denied their basic rights to quality education, health care, protection and exposed to abuse and exploitation

God's Love provided aid to:

Three hundred lepers at the Van Mon leper colony, two hundred and twenty-six boat people of the Red River.

God's Love provided food for the Boat People. Also, God's Love provided vegetable seed's to the Boat People which, will enable them to grow food within their limited confines. The Boat People are the poorest of the poor in Vietnam. The people on Red River survive only on the fish that are caught on that particular day. They do not eat if they do not catch any fish. Two to eight people live on each boat with a majority being children.

God's Love provided food, medical, and educational supplies for one hundred children of Van Mon, Vietnam. This will help Van Mon children to live a more healthy life and become more educated to help their community in the future.

God's Love provided all of the educational supplies for disadvantaged children of The Learning Center in Kansas City, Kansas for the year of 2014.

These services have been accomplished by Foundation's, Corporation's, and people such as yourselves. The Board of Director's Thank you for your support and there is a heartfelt gratitude from the people that have recieved aid due to your generosity.
